It truly is heartbreaking. You would hope that we as a civilization had moved beyond war, just proves how uncivilized we are. It seems the basics of human nature don't change, don't evolve and breed-out.

Hopefully someday soon somebody from inside manages to get Putin... That's the only way I see this ending without a nuclear launch... We just have to pray that, as soon as possible, one of those internal assassination attempts is successful!

That is, indeed, one possible outcome. And exactly what Stalin had done to Berea: ice axe to the brain in Mexico.

I expect Putin has greatly increased his personal guard and is lying really low and not making public appearances.
