I viewed "Jarhead" this evening with 11 other people and having heard that half of the critics detested the film, i didn't know what to expect from sam mendes. the movie was the strangest film, definitely a psychological study on the effects of war and the corresponding expectations. most of my friends didn't care for it, and while torn right after
