I tell everyone I hate messing around, but actually all the major life decisions I am making are made with the aim of subtly facilitating further messing around. I have no idea what to do with my life. I will probably do whatever I am told to do by whomever puts it most convincingly. I was going to say a lot of superfluous stuff about how RSC's King Lear was brilliant and Ian McKellen was perfect, but upon reflection all the good things I have to say are superfluous and the few bad things I have to say are petty. You will have to take my word for it: it was devastating, and very good, and I will never be able to watch another King Lear, ever.
