Better solution: Firefox with the NoScript extension installed. Run Flash only if and when you want to, your decision, either allow or don't.

Allows you to have your cake and eat it too, but based upon YOUR flavor tastes.

Solving the wrong problem, but a good suggestion nonetheless. :)

I agree completely. What annoys me even more is when people ask me if I watched the video they posted on their journal and act hurt when I say 'no'.

Oh I HATE that. You can also get that with LJ entries. They'll ask a question about a post they made, and get annoyed because you missed it - but then you realise, they're not actually reading YOUR posts.
