Yeah, usually we've written things together, and I'm suffering for not having a second eye on it. He's tended to do the rhyme/rhythm while I mostly do the content, but without a second opinion I'm actually finding the content is the toughest balance. It's meant to be a tongue in cheek parody, but it's a bit edgy on the difference between "exuberant, dangerous, recognisable" programming and "bad" programming. Think I'm getting closer: just a few dodgy lines left, and I've managed to scrounge an appropriately credentialed beta-tester. :)

Other than that, I'm happy to wait until after the Christmas/New Year/long school holidays chaos for more fics.

And I thought I was burning the candle at both ends, sleep-wise. I've slept less than 6 hours a night on weeknights for the past two weeks. You still win.
And I hope your home has a/c, so at least nobody will spontaneously burst into flame when 35-degree weather + 20-something guests + stove in full use all collide. :-)

The four hour sleep *was* an aberration. Most nights I get between six and six and a half. It's wearing. And I do indeed have a/c! It's somewhat necessary for our climate. :)
