Trust

It is the foundation of any important or meaningful relationship, whether it is a friendship, romance, partnership, or any other sort of association. Though a person may be able to forgive it, even a single minor violation of trust may put a crack in that foundation that might never be able to be repaired.

I have found so few people who I have ever ( Read more... )

whenever i have a serious relationship problem, i never tell anyone in NC about it, because i know i can't trust them with keeping it under wraps. i always go to someone in arkansas because they have no means nor desire of spreading it to my nc friends. sure, they spread it around jonesboro but it doesn't really matter.

you can't trust anyone. ever. i hold a few secrets that are kept between me and my respective partners, and so far they have held true as well, but i know one day they'll tell someone simply because it's in people's nature. i'm ready for that drama filled day to come though.

i suppose your best means of dealing with these issues is to make online friends in other states/countries that know nobody but you from jonesboro. they can be trusted because they have no way of breaking it. i had a few people like that (kaioshin, anthrax, vega) and they helped me get through a lot. try it out.

I didn't exactly have a huge problem or anything. Nothing actually seemed to bring this entry on, other than that I was thinking to myself about all the people I know, and I realized how few people I can really trust in the way you need to trust someone for a good relationship ( ... )

Why Bush doesn't do it for me anymore.... anonymous April 21 2006, 02:41:45 UTC
I'm a libertarian. Libertarians don't support wire-tapping, searches and seizures, holding people for 3 years with extremely limited access to lawyers, etc. The importance of safety is no excuse for the violation of civil liberties. It's hard for me to get over it after all of this time, but seriously, he's violated too many of my core beliefs now.

Indeed. I agree. I took a look into Libertarianism. I may have almost been one without knowing it...although there are a few points with which I might disagree on with your average Libertarian; however, I'm not exactly sure how accurately the articles I read reflected the views of the average Libertarian. Interesting philosophy though.

Libertarianism anonymous April 22 2006, 21:08:45 UTC
Well honestly libertarianism has a number of different facets and, like any other political party, more libertarians disagree on a number of minute aspects of their beliefs. For example, I don't support privatizing the school system whereas many libertarians do. I'm just not sure how it would work of it schools really should become a business. The primary tenet of libertarian ideology is that the government should not interfere in the lives and actions of people unless those actions cause harm to another person. Most libertarians would consider that harm to be primarily physical although I'm sure there are some who support the govt stepping in to end emotional/psychological harm. Either way, that is the big belief and from there the rest just kind of follows.

Going somewhere anonymous April 23 2006, 02:14:42 UTC
Actually I feel pretty confident where I want to go, what I need to get there, why I'm going that way, etc. I'm just not sure how I feel RIGHT NOW and I feel that all of these plans I've made for the future are suddenly become plans I'm making for now because it just seems like time is going so fast. As for knowing myself, I think I know myself way too well. I'm just concerned about aging and losing this time because I really want to enjoy this time without it slipping away so quickly.

I think you read more of yourself in my post than you actually read me Joshua.

That's the thing, I'm not awkward, unsure, misunderstood, or confused about anything general, they are each related to very specific situations. They don't relate at all how I feel about my general life, but there are 4 situations that have happened lately that they all apply to and I'm just frustrated that they still apply to those situations considering how everything else has changed. There is so much more behind this post that you don't understand and that's why I think you're reading yourself in it rather than me, because I kept out a lot of things that would have clarified what exactly I'm talking about.
