i liked it better back then. the last 30 days of school was a party. we cleaned our desks with shaving cream. we carved our names in trees and visited our counselor when things were rough. we might have said mean things, but we didn't mean them. we couldn't have, we were only 10.

I miss the shaving cream. I miss having reminders sent home to my parents via a sticker on my shirt [looks like domino's night in that picture]. I went back to a certain tree on a certain playground. No initials, but then, they weren't so much carved as written in ink, pushing as hard as we could, which, honestly, was not so hard. We were only ten.

I'm still wary of the word 'perfect'. I'm sorry about my fifth grade self. Hell, I'm sorry about my tenth grade self.

Cute picture.

I think it's time to bring back the... HANDSTAND CONTESTS!

What was that game we used to play on the bus? Jessica hated it. It was something about the bus was going to blow up.. and we'd always get off just in time. :)

And remember the time we related God to the ketchup bottle?

Soooo goooood!

P.S. That tank top was my first one. Over the next year I acquired a few more, and I'd always boast: "I'm up to seven!", but I was never quite as stylish as you. You had that fuzzy navy blue sweater that was mine in my dreams.

hey i don't appreciate the crack about the teeth. i got braces, ok?

"the bus is going to blow up!" i think jessica hated it because we didn't include her. we were elementary school bitches (with an impeccable fashion sense).
