Aaah! Magical. Strange world, and very interesting premise and characters. I enjoyed reading this, it felt like an introduction to something bigger, something exciting. Nice work!

Thanks lots! I'm glad I was able to paint the scene for you, and that you are looking forward to next week. I will definitely be continuing Mari and Adelle's story, even if in the Just for Fun category :D

That was a very enjoyable story. I loved these lines:

Unlike Ash, she could never seem to catch the pulse of the group, work it or make her place in it. She was the wind, always just passing through.

And that they are 'weirdlings'. Cool!

I'm happy you enjoyed those lines, as I was working hard to establish a distinction between Ashton and Maristat without it seeming forced. In the larger body of stories, the Corvines work in tandem a lot; so I want to give each triplet some individuality early on. Thank you for your insights :D

Thank you very much. I'm glad that you enjoyed the style and tone. I was very much going for an unhurried, pastoral feel to match the setting, so I'm happy that came across :D
