1) The Diving Bell and the Butterfly 2) La Vie En Rose 3) Pan's Labyrinth (again) 4) Sweeney Todd (fuck you, Lapeer, for not showing it) 5) Persepolis 6) There Will Be Blood (not just for the milkshake part) 7) Savages 8) The Counterfeiters 9) Children of Men 10) All Dogs go to Heaven (it's been YEARS!!!)
Sweeney Todd was sweet. Persepolis I haven't seen, but I bought the Graphic Novel for my sister for Christmas. There Will Be Blood was SWEET. Children of Men made me fall in love with T.S. Eliot. If you didn't know, the movie draws a lot of lines/inspiration from "The Wasteland" by T.S. Eliot, which was basically this crazy Modernist Poem that was pretty pimp.
Best line from "The Wasteland"?
There is shadow under this red rock, (Come in under the shadow of this red rock), And I will show you something different from either Your shadow at morning striding behind you Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you; I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

I've never read it but I'll have to now!
It does sound ridiculously pimp.
