I just went to Heath Ledger's IMDb page to see what's happening on the boards and found that every thread has been deleted by an administrator. I've never seen something like that before. Is that standard practice? Has anyone else seen this?

That is true. Sometimes I just hate IMDb. At least the message boards.

I know what your talking about with Heath Ledger's page on the IMDb.

Apparently after news of his story broke people went to the board to vent out their greivance over the lost of such a young actor (it does seem so surreal) and, of course, along with the genuine mourners came the few who were immature and callous.

The board got flooded with people making fun of his death and generally being hateful and so the administrator deletedall the negative posts to allow the positive ones to be remain.

God, I hate it when people are such assholes. A life is a life, no matter whose it was, and a death should be respected.
