I'm watching the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics. In my entire life, I've never watched this before. The Olympics were never something I was all that interested in besides listening to who won what. I love watching the Olympic Opening Ceremonies and I have to say the Beijin Olympics have taken the entire cake of being the best one ever.

And it was super adorable that Yao Ming and Lin Hao were the front walkers of China. Lin Hao's story about surviving the earthquake and going back to help find his classmates was so touching. And him saying thank you very much at the end was adorable!

Of course China has to be the best and top all of the past ceremonies, but I'm glad they did! I was on the verge of tears for nearly the entire 4 and 1/2 hours!

I want to find a screencap of Yao and Lin because it is just too much adorableness! The gentle giant and the tiny hero. Classic!

The opening ceremonies have always been one of the most fantastic part of the Olympic games. I missed tonight's ceremonies because I had to work, but I have no doubt they were positively glorious.

Oh man, if you get the opportunity to watch it somewhere online, do it! You won't regret it. Not only was it just lovely, it was a marvel of modern art and technology!
