OMG you guys, in a couple of days I'll be 24! That's right, I'm one year closer to my quarter-life crisis. Looking forward to that one. How should I handle it, though? Windows Vista is nice, but lots of eye candy, in my opinion. I removed it from my laptop and replaced it with Ubuntu, and haven't looked back.

Well, it's not letting me uninstall iTunes (I need to reinstall it because when I transferred it, it said that it wasn't installed properly and wouldn't be able to import CDs), so I may end up changing to Ubuntu.

If you have QuickTime installed, you may need to uninstall both it AND iTunes. Not long ago Apple bundled them together so you had to get rid of both if there was a major problem. That may still be the case, but I can't be 100% sure since I haven't used iTunes in a long while.

Ubuntu is a version of Linux that is much more user friendly. It's free always being updated.

Zac was pretty young in Firefly. It was only a small role in one episode. He played baby!Simon during a flashback. Totally adorable and a perfect fit.

if you're going to go with ubuntu, you might need a SATA harddrive to get the best out of it, it just runs better off them apparently!

SATA is just the newer kind of harddrive, they're a lot faster. chances are you've probably already got one if your computer is brand new!
