Time passes... things happen...

I'm feeling cocky today. I got something finished on time at work.

Thats pretty sad... I counted 5 different ways it was sad before self preservation directed me to go read web comics...

This made me think of Cpt. Awesome...

This
made me think of my wife... (and explains why I should never raid without her)...

Now I will go be awesome elsewhere.

comics, x, philosophy, cptn. awesome

Penny Arcade usually flies over my head, probably because I'm not into gaming in a big way. My gaming life starts with Half-Life and ends with Half-Life 2. Which also explains why the only web-comic I've devoured from beginning to end is Concerned.

Holy hell... the reality that there is no REASON to play any other game than HL is very poignant.*

I am actually a HUGE Half-life fan, despite that I have YET to get all the way through the first add-on chapter... my gaming time is egregiously limited.

*though NOT playing the original Fallout, and (hopes and fears) the upcoming Fallout 3, might be detrimental to your soul.

Please, don't ever! If I see one more of my friend's relationships fall apart because of secretly desired rot drops I think I may quit "teh interwebz" for good

lol... I make it a point to make sure she gets the first drop of anything we both need... it is a policy that has risks, if she tires of a zone or a mob before I get my copy, I have to arrange to get it on my own terms...

Mostly at this point, the pattern seems to be: The one guy we invited that isn't in the Kinship, that no one actually knows, and one guy played with this one time on his alt, a guy we admit ONLY because we might need a DPS/Tank/Healer... might... THAT GUY gets the drops, not because he needs them, but because they are worth a crapload on auction.
