Joe came up and suprised me on Friday. Awesomeness. I was so happy to see him, because I hadn't in ages. Okay, two weeks. But it felt like ages

i kind of want my monroe done, but after the way my mom reacted to the nose, i don't think so...and i can't get my tattoo on my back because she said she'd disown me.
My mom freaked out about my nose, too. She doesn't know about the majority of my other piercings :)
If you can stay away from home for like..three weeks, you can get your monroe, and in three weeks it'll be all healed and ready for a retainer. With a retainer, it's pretty much invisible. That's what I'm going to have to do with my monroe AND my lip, because my parents will absolutley die.
You should tell your mom that your body is a canvas which you can adorn in any way you see fit, and by getting a tattoo on your back, you're not hurting/offending anyone, since basically no one's going to see it. Either that, or wait until you're supporting yourself and out on your own before you begin the addictive hobby that is tattooing. Le sigh.
BTW--Thanks for the info about honors registration! I definately needed to know :)
WE ARE GOING TO HANG OUT SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE DAMNIT!
Yeah, I'm debating whether to just tell her that a) she doesn't have to see my tattoos that often, b) it doesn't even affect her, and c) it's my damn body.
Tell her all those things and then some. Tell her the manner in which you express yourself is not for her to a) judge or b) control. You're considered an adult and can make decisions for yourself accordingly.
She won't see the hole with a retainer. Unless you get like, a black retainer. That would be silly though. My boy has the middle of his lip pierced, and when he wears a retainer you cannot even SEE the hole. So retainers definately work, and I'm putting all my faith in them when I go home next time ;)
Trust me, you don't want to see it. It's absolute crap.
I tried to call you yesterday, but it kept saying that the number I was dialing was no longer in service. I could swear I had your number right in my phone...either way, call me sometime this week and we WILL get together. That's a solemn vow and promise :)
