I don't feel any different, other than looking at the big "36" on my cake and remembering back when my parents turned 40 and thinking they were "old". Oy, only 4 more years. Where has the time gone. -

2:32 PM - Beyond mad! Our bankruptcy case was dismissed, not sure why yet, but they believe due to the paralegal they fired last week. Grr!

Beyond pissed right now. We just had our 341 meeting at the bankruptcy court, and we were informed by the trustee of the court that our case was DISMISSED. Our lawyer had no record of it in our file. But I received the letter, and when I did I emailed their paralegal asking her what it was about. She stated that they were dismissing the ( Read more... ) -

new neighbors
They moved in across the street a couple months ago. Young couple with 2 kids. Unfortunately, they fit all too well into this neighborhood. Their front porch is decorated with knick-knacky things, the inner workings of a barber pole, an American Flag (not on a pole), pinwheels, etc. You get the picture ( Read more... ) -

The roofers have come and gone. This time they actually went in the attic! And within 5 minutes found the leak. Imagine that! If they had just done that 3 months ago, we wouldn't be where we are today. Yup, definitely not ever recommending this roofing company! 3:55p - I just received a call from their office, stating that the guys are still on a job in Vienna and won't be able to make it out today. So they need to reschedule for Friday. I'm thankful they called, instead of leaving us hanging, but with only *5* minutes to spare in the appt ( Read more... )
