No freaking idea.

The 'average'(not as in 'mediocre,' but as in 'typical') mind has an intermediary process that takes place automatically when it encounters new information. Think of this process as a secretary in an office. Most of my professors describe their cognitive thought process as resembling a set of drawers. Knowledge and ideas are filed appropriately ( Read more... )

I don't really know if there's anything I can say that will help, but considering how every time I read one of your posts I am impressed with the depth of thought that goes into them and how beautiful and captivating your writing is, I can't help but think that you have huge amounts of potential.

Whoa Marla, massively high praise...I feel almost embarrassed as though it were undue. Coming from you, no less.

Cuz your writingz r so l337 lol!

I say that earnestly because I always have and continue to read those regular, neat and precise 150-word entries of yours. They're really good, I especially like hearing about your various endeavours in art, literature and music. These range from design and vid. editing to recording a pop song; you're such a varied artist! Grats on your book, would it be too forward to ask for the script? Hoping to read it.

Well thanks :)

I think the book needs a little more work - I think the relationships between the various characters are still a little weak - but I think once I get home I'll turn it into a pdf and let a few people read it just to get some feedback. Message me your email address and I'll send it to you. :)

always am glad to read one of your posts, it's nice to hear your voice again.
and what yuriko_kun said? about depth of thought and how captivating your writing is? yeah, it's smack-dab obvious to me, too. that's a lot of why i enjoy reading your posts, and i often wonder if those few bloggers who write so well [in their own charactersitic ways] that the sheer "music" of their writing makes it so enjoyable to read... i often wonder if writers like you even need to put much planning into (say) writing a post, or if it all just comes natural?

at any rate, again, thanks for the post, kev :-)

Dave, thanks for this!

It does come naturally for the most part,
although I feel it's more a naturally occurring chaos than anything else.

Amazing minds, as I imagine them, always have thoughts in reach...there is structure and careful design to their thoughts, ideas and how they're expressed.

I WANT THAT, but how?

Anyway, are you doing well?
