What is the creative spark?

The stuff of writing takes place in everyone's minds, but is mostly unsuitable for print. There are many reasons for this; human thought is often undisciplined, rampant and blurry. It is difficult for us to be succinct and compelling in the form of writing.

damn but don't i often feel something that feels kind of similar: that my expressions when being creative or trying to just isn't doing something justice, and that if people would look at it, they'll see the thing i created but not what i was /trying/ to be -- but they'll think the thing i created is a good reflection of /me/. but it isn't! it's indicative of a Try, a Process

i myself have all but given up, for the next few years at least, of trying to be precise/sturctured, but those who CAN have a mind that you mention here that you're trying to develop -- man, THOSE people, i like to think, can take the incredible depth and latitude and power of all these swirling wisps, and shape and form and manifest them into REALLY COMPELLING AND INSPIRING F-CKING CREATIONS in this real world!

and i tell you, i fucking admire people like that!!
