7x23 - The Good, the Bad, and the Dominatrix

As controvesial as that ep may be, I figured we could use a thread as it airs.

Please remember, no 'ship bashing, but focus on the ep at hand ;) We thank you!

Personally, seeing the Western theme, I am hoping for HAT again, heh.

Well, I have to say I didn't like the ep too much (the B-plot was good, though) - mainly because the tension was contrived to me and I don't see why Sara should be so mad. This just didn't make sense in the context of the season and their relationship to me.

I so sincerely hope that they don't get rid of her...I wouldve rather had 20 seasons of sexual tension than 6...they get together and she dies....aaaarrrgh. Praying for a killer finale (not Sara)

*fingers crossed*
I would hate that really and I really can't see CSI doing that.

My PC is working hard but slow! What I got so far breaks my heart! I just can say men, omg, men. Mine is an ex now! (I concede, I´m biased) hee

Did you get to see it by now?
Well, I guess from your standpoint I can sort of see it, but I don't really see Grissom was in the wrong helping someone he perceives to be a friend.
Catherine was right, he was a hypocrite when it came to his own work rules, but I can't really fault him beyond that. Guess we have to agree to disagree ;)

Hola!
Finally, I watched the last ep and now I see it in a different light. (Probably I was in a bad mood yesterday heee)
Actually I like this ep. Sara (as a character) acted very professional and brave. I think, it´s always hard to learn something about your partners past relationships (no matter whether sexual or not) especially you get it from a third person. (I must admit that I enjoyed Cath "Monologue" very much. heheh) I assume Sara eventually tried to look at it in a reasonable way.
Yes, I think, Grissom is doing right helping a friend especially because everybody seemed to prejudge Heather instead to understand her. Although I have to agree that it is in fact a bit hypocritical according to his work.

19 day to go...I´m so looking forward to it!

Thing is, I'm not sure Sara didn't know before, but then we can never know that for sure. I thought Cath at the beginning was hilarous, the way she kept rambling, heh. If they meant to use that to set up rattled Sara, they failed using he funny music in the background. This whole ep was just inconsistent really.
Well, I guess the next ep will tell us more.

And yes, sooooon!

Obviously, my opinion only, but I was sorry it was the worst Lady Heather show we have seen. :( They took all the fire out of her.

I so agree with that. Her character's played out by now and this was all just meh.

I was hoping to get some inspiration to write some more Gil/LH fan fiction, but that won't be happening now. My own personal belief is that season 8 is the last season...now I am starting to hope it is because after the last few episodes I think it is going downhill. Maybe next week will be better.

Ok, what was that? I soooo didn't like that epi! Except for the fact that Billy was looking damn good ^^ But this whole LH-thing was just off - that's my opinion. Poor Sara, would have loved to shake some sense into Grissom. God, I'm so wound up at the moment, I definitely need to cool off before I can formulate a proper statement...

The ep WAS off, totally agree. The whole tension was created artificially and didn't work for me at all.
Poor judged Bugman, he's catching flack from all over today ;)

I still love him. Just felt bad for Sara. I thought he couldve handled it a bit better with Sara but we do have to remember that he's NEVER been good with emotional situations and Sara to some extent should expect that by now. *sigh*

True dat. And I also think she didn't help by cutting him off when he was trying to say something.
But regardless of that, the whole basic idea for this seemed off to me. I do feel bad for Sara if I go with the writer's reasoning, but looking at the ep itself, that reasoning just doesn't make any sense to me, ya know?

I've just watched the episode and I can't think of a single thing that Grissom did wrong. He helped a friend, he did the right thing and there's nothing in this episode that suggests that LH has ever been anything more than a friend to him. I'm actually very proud of Grissom for what he did. He's a decent human being, a caring friend and a good man. He tried to talk to Sara and she cut him off as usual. She either doesn't want to know or she's a smart girl who figured it all out and didn't see the need for him to apologize or explain anything. Whatever her reason, it's her choice not to hear his version.

I love Grissom even more after this episode than I did before and if Sara is a smart girl, she'll feel the same otherwise I'm not sure she really deserves him.

Domo! *HUGS*
And yes, agreed. People have been saying they like this somewhat more open and caring Grissom of late. Don't fault him for that when he turns to someone you may dislike. And it's not like it was unwarranted - LH was suicidal, a lot seem to forget that. The whole tension didn't make sense to me, period.
