I just talked to an intern with the Chicago Cubs (she appreciated the easy question) and William Petersen is scheduled to sing the 7th inning stretch on May 30th this year.  He is only scheduled once for this season.  It is a night game and the intern said the best seats to try and get to see him were either behind home plate or on the first base ( Read more... )

I know the feeling. The video clips I have seen show that he is not the best singer, but he puts a lot of gusto into it!

For those of you who do not have WGN channel, or cannot attend, be sure and check out Len & Bobs baseball blog because they seem to be show a lot of the 7th inning stretch singers ;)

A night game would be even better. I should be able to get the radio broadcast interview during the 6th inning with Pat and Ron. I love it when Billy talks to Ron.

Oh that last interview on the radio was a hoot.

I was kind of hoping we'd get to see him talk to Ron, but it didn't happen (at least we didn't see it). But he did look adorable, yes?

Awww, I am part of a blurb on the main site...

"Billy singing at the cubs this year c/o one of our LJ members (thanks) already at our Livejournal."

You're welcome....and next year I WILL call once a week starting in April until I get an answer so I am not caught with such short notice.

At times, I really wish WLP had an official site or was more of a publicity kind of man. Don't get me wrong, I am glad there is not a lot of scandal attached to any of the CSI actors, but I wish I could have found this out sooner.

Yeah, we know what you mean. Even if there was an official site, I can't really see every appearance he was attending to be on there either, just because of the way he is heh. He's a pain in the butt LOL.

It's hard for us at times because we know something is going to happen, but at the same time we don't like to post about it until we have official confirmation we can link to, because if something changes, then it lets all our visitors down.

We have several million so we don't want that many people angry at us LOL.
