Apparently the only way to cure that rampant "NO CSS STYLE FOR YOU" white plague that's going around is to switch to the S2 system. One source said LJ did it on purpose to weed out the S1 system.

Yeah, seriously, if they wanted to force people to switch, there's far easier ways than annoying them while leaving the old system there :p.
