You know what, that's a good question! I would vote yes, considering that the word "fetish" didn't start out as a sexual thing anyways.

I'm preeeeetty sure it can't be a fetish unless you actually get off sexually on it X3 So I think you're safe. It's just a thing you really like XD

I always thought of it like this:

Fetish: Something you really, really enjoy, beyond "normal" standards. (Doesn't have to be sexual, though most times are linked to such.)

Kink: Something you need to get off (sexual).

But again, a lot of things are attached to each other, etc. So fetish doesn't have to mean anything sexual at all, but in these days (with online stuff) it's used in a way that always associates it as such.

In other news: THAT'S ADORABLE OF YOU. c:

Regardless, that's really cute, Phe! ^_^ Just reading about you squeeing kind of makes me squee, too. It's like infectious giggling!

I always considered 'fetish' to be more of 'an interest in the material' as opposed to 'kink' which is the whole 'sexual' side of it, to crib notes from the other person who said something similar.

I think you can have a fetish for fluff and WAFF and all those fuzzy romance dating games and such, and it's by no means a bad thing. X3
