I am so angry right now... I wrote this really long entry for my LJ, but LJ refused to post it because they said that their database is offline for the moment.

Yeah, that's happened to me once or twice. Now I tend to write all my long entries off LJ and just cut and paste. Although I've noticed that on my new entries they have something about 'autosaved of draft at' at the top of the text entry area of a new post... maybe there's a way to recover it? Course I've never had occasion to try.

Yeah, I always copy and paste any post or entry that's more than a few lines long. A lesson learned from Comixfan's periods of instability in the past :P
