Chapter 6: Don't Go
POV: Ginny
When I finally find Hermonie shes sitting in her favorite little corner by the fire. "Hermonie?" She doesn't look up at me. But I can see sparkling from the fire light. "You didn't tell me." She stands up. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I knew you wouldn't have wanted me to do it." She shakes her head and finally looks at me. "I would have supported you! You-" She wipes her eyes. "You should have known that."
"Hermonie, please don't be upset with me." I move closer to her but she takes a step back. Tears well up in my eyes. "You should be able to tell me anything, but since you cant. Maybe we shouldn't-"
"Don't say that. Please don't." I walk towards her and she gives the same reaction as before. "Don't touch me Ginny. Please, don't." She drops her head and I run and hug her. "Hermonie please, don't. Don't go." How these words make it through my gasps for air from crying I'll never know. She unwraps her arms from my tiny waist and looks at me. Tears filling her big brown eyes. "I'm sorry, Ginny." She unwraps my arms from her neck and begins to walk away.
"Hermonie?" I manage to choke out. Shes walking away. Shes really walking away. "Don't leave. Come back please!" I make to run after her but trip. "Please Hermonie...?" Shes out of sight but I continue to call out to her. Tears in a steady stream, heart shattered, I sit. Staring at the entrance. Hoping, wishing, praying she'll descend from the stairs.
I hear a shy voice speak my name. "Hermonie?!" I look up hoping to see a beautiful girl with long brown curls in front of me. But its only Luna. Her blonde hair and robes are soaked. "Why are you soaking wet Luna?"
"The gnomes. They wanted to play with water guns" Ive never seen these gnomes she's always talking about. So either she's mental, or these things hide really well. "Why are your eyes wet?" She asks breaking the silence. I quickly wipe them. "Wha-what do you mean?"
"Its Hermonie isn't it?" How does she know?! "I assumed it had something to do with her because you looked as though you've been crying. And when I walked in you thought I was her. What happened?" She sits down on the couch. She knows so I may as well tell her. "She left me." My head drops. "Because of the tournament. I'm sorry. She'll come back."
"How do you know?" I ask looking up at her. "The way she looks at you. The way she'll look at you tomorrow." My head drops again, and when I lift it? She's gone.
"Luna?"
A/N: I had to make an apperance of Luna for my friend Cazzy. He loves her haha. And like I said in a earlier authors note, I just recently went through a break up therefore my fiction has changed moods severly. But! I had originally planne on this happening. My breakup just made it easier to write. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and are enjoying this fiction :3
