Christmas, this year, has been brilliant. I haven't had to fight one enemy. I've had sleighrides, snow, and presents - oh, presents! For Claire, I got a music box that played Le Mal du Pays, for Matt, a pearPod quadro to sync with his motorbike, for Martha, a plush version of the Epstein-Barr virus, and for Rose, a nebula encased in a crystalline ( Read more... )

christmas, excitement like whoa

Right, of course! Development!

Er.... what sort of development, then? Real estate? Sustainable? Artificial? Corporate? Arrested?

Anytime, Claire. Don't hurry, really. I have a time capsule, so we can always blink back to Christmas morning and open gifts all over again if you want.

Really! We can even go back to the first Christmas, though I don't recommend it. Camels and all that.

Doctor...That sounds like it's really beautiful. I didn't know you could encase those things.

'S brilliant how they do it, Rose! 'S a wee factory satellite off Appollon. They go and catch the nebula, as it were, then they wrangle it in this mestatronic destabilizer which compresses it until it's the size of a walnut. D'you like walnuts? I don't, well, not really. They're okay if... er, never mind. Nebulas! Yes. Once they're small, they bombard them with neutrinos until they freeze, and the ball forms itself! Genius!

Oh, I don't know about that. I'll love whatever it is, I'm sure. Well... unless it contains walnuts.

That sounds like a really amazing process. Um, walnuts are alright, I suppose. Not much of a big fan though.

It's not edible or maybe it can be knowing you. But it doesn't have walnuts, I promise.
