But who's more irritating: Ron Paul, or Ron Paul's supporters? :P

... and let's not forget all those racist rants from his early nineties newsletter... here's one about the 1991 LA riots:

how all these little internet trolls can still support this guy after that is beyond me. the only republican i dislike more than him is romney, actually (and duncan hunter... but i think dropped out). hell, as awful as huckabee is on social issues, he's somewhat of a relief when it comes to ecological and economic policy... at least comparatively.

yes, i read that too. of course, paul supporters would claim that was written nearly 10 years ago (i would argue that doesn't matter). has he ever addressed those comments? i think the most annoying thing about paul is that, much like a cockroach, he wont go away because people are ignorant enough to fund him. they dont realize that congress would NEVER allow any of his proposed legislation to pass and he would be politically impotent.

romney, i have a feeling, is on his way out unless he begins to turnaround something fierce. the thing is, romney would be a terrible republican candidate because even the conservative christians dont support him as his mormon beliefs align him with worshiping a "false prophet".

huckabee was a flash in the pan and why the media kept proping him up and keeping him in the press was beyond me.

paul's defense of himself about those writings has been abominable. i mean, it's basically amounted to "i didn't write them and i don't know who wrote them." if this guy can't keep track of a pamphlet he sent out ten years ago, how are we expected to believe he'd be able to manage a country ( ... )

amen.

... and now we don't even have Edwards' voice of sanity to balance the crazies... god, I hope Obama wins and taps Edwards for the VP spot.

Hillary as John Bonjovi. Obama as Lenny Kravitz? nishini February 6 2008, 01:23:36 UTC
I love the Ayn Rand comment.
I dont know Edward creeps me out a little.

Hillary would never deal as 2nd to Obama.
but Hillary - Obama might just make a good match, they could use that tension to drive change (you know, like the lead singer and the guitarist in the Democratic Presidential Rock Band... I dont know...
