the same kind of thing happened at best buy when i worked there. they wanted us to sell the generic versions of video game controllers because the margin was higher on them and best buy made more money EVEN THOUGH they broke often and most of our returns were those items. i'd be honest and tell them which ones were worth the money. guess that's why i don't work in retail anymore.

This legitimately happened EVERY DAY at the salon on Newbury. My boss was such a money-hungry wench.

wtf!!! thank god none of my front desk co-workers do it. i hate there is such a pressure for extra sales- more importance should be on their hair vs. making them pay for their hair PLUS get products. stylists/colorists have like, such high quotas that its bullshit.

thank god the place i get my hair done at isnt like that at all
