and, um, when the rebel kid is running through the halls away from the principal
he is singing
a lot of different songs
but one line is definitely

I wanna be an airforce ranger!so maybe theres like a legit version of the song somewhere

Of course mr. asherman, there is a real song behind it, except its not exactly a song. Being the condescending bastard i enjoy being, lets begin our small lesson for the night. In most military bases were training goes on you will usually find GIs running around yelling cadences, cadences are small little tunes you run or jog to, usually led by your Sargeant or whoever is your CO in your unit. These cadences have some generic versions and verses (ie. 1 2 3 I love the marine corps, love the corps, my corps, your corps). I would guess, and i believe i am right (being me and all) that your airborne ranger song is really a cadence, "I want to be an airforce ranger, i want to lead a life of danger" i believe it airborne because air force would make no sense, since the air force has no land based troops!
But yes, that me, if you see this before you goto school tommorrow tell me and i wont tell you this during hopper.
