Character's Name: Killer Croc (Real Name: Waylon Jones)
Character's Age: It’s not canonly listed but my guess would be anywhere from his 30s to his 40s. I would initially guess about 38.

What form will your character's NV take?
Since Killer Croc isn’t as excited about electronics and being technologically hip I’d guess that he’d end up with something he’d be more familiar with. Something more reminiscent of the 80’s. It would a large square (about the size of a graphing calculator) device with a screen on the upper have. There would be a small camera embedded in the top and easy to use buttons on the lower halve along with an embedded speaker. The NV would have to be extremely durable, and water proof, just so that it could last more than 5 minutes in Croc’s care.

Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: Croc was born with a form of regressive atavism. This has caused his skin to harden to the point to were he is invulnerable to abrasive weapons and to low caliber weapons fired from a distance. He has super human strength, speed and agility, and is also an astounding swimmer. He also has the ability to heal at a much faster rate than that of a human. Similar to that of a reptile. Killer Croc has some experience at street fighting and wrestling, but not much. Batman and Robins skills are still far better than his. He even has a decent intelligence level, but because he is a high school drop out it’s still not that high. He is at least moderately capable of organizing thugs to do small time operations.

Weapons: Usually Croc just uses himself as a weapon, but he has used a sniper rifle in the past and is pretty good at using them.

It would take hours to get down every little detail of his history. So I've listed what I think is the most important.
Waylon Jones was born with a medical condition called Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis, which causes his crocodile like appearance. Because his mother died at his birth, and because his father abandoned him, he was raised by his alcoholic aunt. He suffered from being the object of ridicule through out his younger years, and it only worsened once he became a teenager. He was always in and out of the Juvenile Detention center and eventually he was tried as an adult and sentenced to prison at the age of 16. Somehow he managed to get out of prison on parole after 18 years despite the fact that he had killed another inmate for mocking his appearance.
Once he left prison he started a career as a carnival side show act. He wrestled alligators for a living, but he soon grew tired of being the underdog and decided to move on and 'become king'. This was about the time he started to call himself Killer Croc instead of Waylon Jones. He realized that he could make more money in crime so he decided to become Gotham's most powerful underground figure. He started by establishing mob ties in Tampa, but he soon grew anxious to move on. He then started a group in Gotham. While he was away from his group they took in Solomon Grundy (along with a lot of headaches) so Croc Left them in search of something better. He tried to join The Squid's group, but after witnessing Batman escape from a 'death trap' Croc left claiming that the group saying "this outfit smells of loser.". After a short verbal fight between Croc and Squid he disappeared. Later Croc shot The Squid with a sniper rifle from a top of a nearby roof.
Later on Croc approached the members of Gotham's Tobacconist Club and announced his intention to take over the city's mobs. Skeptical they decided to put him through a test , sending Killer Croc to steal a state-of-the-art Air Force Computer at S.T.A.R. Labs. Croc wasn't too happy, but complied stating "Mister, I was born a freak -- I've had to prove myself to creeps like you all my life. I could break you in half. But that wouldn't get me what I WANT ... so I'll STEAL your crummy computer. And then I'll shove it down your fat throat."
In the end the robbery was a success, but the group basically shrugged him off. From there, he returned to his 'Home', only to find batman waiting for him. He blew up the apartment in a fit of rage and took off. After that, he and Batman had many more encounters, and a short rivalry developed between him and Bane. Soon Croc was in and out of Arkham Asylum on a regular basis.

Character Personality: Killer Croc is an interesting character. He is psychologically on a teeter-totter between an insane killer and a fairly normal and caring person. He refuses to admit that he's insane, and looks to make himself stand out and above the rest. He is almost a beast, but still has many qualities of a man.
"All my life people been screamin'... ever since I was a kid -- just cuz I was born different... just cuz I look different, but lemme tell ya... you people ain't no joy to look at neither!" - Killer Croc (During a rampage)
Killer Croc has been suffering from his appearance caused by his disease since a young age. Bullied and often the center of ridicule, he started to act out and commit crimes. His violent side had him in and out of Juvenile Detention, and eventually it led him to be tried and convicted as an adult.
He lives up to his name as 'Killer Croc' as well. He's killed several people, in his attempts to become the best crime lord of all time, but he's also killed people in his fits of rage. He's never felt any remorse for those he has killed and doesn't show any desire to stop killing people. His past of being ridiculed has caused a huge rift between himself and those he sees as "normal". He has been triggered into fits of rage by people simply staring at him in terror, causing him to start ripping things apart. To make matters worse, as he grows older his affliction (Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis) causes him to grow more violent and beast like, further alienating him from the human race.
"Then I got smart. I had the strength, I had the hate -- why shouldn't I USE it to get what I wanted? 'Killer Croc' -- that's what they called me. But some day, SOME DAY, I knew they'd call me KING!" - Killer Croc
When he was younger, Croc didn't really have any particular ambition of his own. One day though, he realized that he possessed power, that that power could be used to his advantage. He started out with small gangs, but his confidence in his power inspired him to dream bigger, to take control of something on a larger scale. He has shown that he'll go as far as taking down crime bosses (Ex: The Squid) , if he thinks that's what he has to do to ascend in power. His dreams to be on top is often what keeps him going.
"That's MISTER CROC to you, chump. An' I'll tell ya somethin' ELSE -- I shouldn't even BE here. I ain't CRAZY!" - Killer Croc (SWAMP THING # 66 )
Killer Croc is mentally unstable, even if he won't admit it to himself. Examples of this can be seen from his fits of rage from being stared at, to his blowout just from Batman finding his 'home'. He is a cold blooded killer who kills countless without even a second thought, but he is deluded enough to not believe this about himself. He believes he's just as sane as the next person. He has even thought he was pretending to be insane, once in Arkham Asylum, in order to take the opportunity to heal up after a fight with Batman. However, he ended up snapping at an employee at some point after being called "Killer" (See quote above).
"I'm Killer Croc! I can do ANYTHIN'! This is MY home! Ain't NOBODY takin' it away from me!" - Killer Croc (Trying to save his adopted Family from Drowning)
Despite his violent side, Killer Croc is still capable of being caring and compassionate. When put into an environment where he is accepted as he is, instead of being screamed at in fear, he becomes a more gentle being. He has even adopted a family of homeless people and risked his life to protect them. He was also more docile during one of his stays at Arkham Asylum (although he was given plenty of Valium), where he made many friends, and began to enjoy activities (such as watching Seinfeld and playing cards with other inmates). Unfortunately, this side of Croc is not often seen, as something always seems to happen to change his situation (whether it be when his adopted family was separated from him or Joker switching his Valium with amphetamines), which almost always ends up reverting back to his cold, killer self.
Overall, Killer Croc is a very complex character. He can go from being a cold-hearted killer, to a caring friend. To sum it up, Croc is just a man who wants to be accepted as he is, and wants to be able to accomplish something grand. Unfortunately, his views of the world have become skewed, because of his past, and has turned him into a cold, hardened criminal.

Character Plans: When he starts, I'll have him remain neutral, just long enough to establish which side 'doesn't smell like loser'. Remaining neutral for too long will make him become anxious, so once he gets a good look around, he'll most likely join Afterglow Inc., as they run things in a way that Croc is more familiar with. Although he won't be too concerned about the cooperation itself, so much as trying to take control of it. Unfortunately, because of his lack of skills (and especially his lack of smarts), he most likely won't get too far with that dream.
Appearance/PB: Killer Croc has many different designs. I'm planning on using his more 'human' looking appearance. His skin is green and scaly, but he wont have a crocodile snout or tail. His eyes will also be red, like they're portrayed in the comics. For his clothes, I will have him in simple ripped jeans, and possibly switch to his fancier tastes of pinstripe suits and fedoras if he ever establishes himself into a crime boss attitude after arriving.

First Person Sample
[When the video appears on the screen, one is greeted by the truly strange sight of green skin, and sharp, yellowed teeth.]
What the hell does this thing do anyways?!
[The yellow teeth recede into the background as Killer Croc pulls his device father away from his face. Now his red eyes can be seen staring blankly at the viewer. A few clicks can be heard, as he gives a grunt. The video cuts out a few times, causing him to curse.]
Piece of crap! Work, damn it!
[Finally, the video smooths out as Croc's face takes up the space again, as he inspects something unseen. The screen fogs up a few times from his breath, before a giant green hand can be seen wiping the screen clean.]
How do I change the damn channel? God damn it, I want to watch Seinfeld!
[The video cuts out a few more times and more swearing is heard. When the video switches back in, there's a moment where the image is blurred and a loud crack is heard. Surprisingly, the device survives, so the video continues. The viewer is stuck with a tilted image of a pissed off Croc, sitting on a nearby bench. Eventually, he calms down sits back up. The image of him grew larger on the screen until the only thing that can be seen is his large, scaly feet. A blur of colors and shapes is seen, as the device is moved around, but everything went to black after a click is heard.]
Third Person Sample
This wasn't Gotham, that much was clear. One moment he was in Arkham Asylum, the next he was in the middle of some baseball diamond in a place he'd never seen before. Not that he wasn't thankful to be free of that zoo, he just would have liked to know where he was, and especially how he even got here in the first place.
He looked around his surroundings. It was fairly empty, which wasn't surprising for the time of day it was. The sun seemed to be already setting, causing him to smirk, as he was happy that he would have the cover of darkness soon. He'd need to get a place to hide and some new clothes and the darkness would make that all the more easier. Or so he thought.
"Hah! They can't keep ole Croc tied up in no Zoo!"
The smirk was wiped away though with the sound of a loud, piercing siren.
"Shit!"
He looked around, panicked. He assumed that the sirens meant that there some sort of trouble with police, or even worse, with Batman. He soon realized though, that something seemed off. There were no stars, and barely any light. On top of that, the chain link fence he stood by, that had been sparkling clean during the day, was now covered in rust and moss. Garbage cans and litter covered the entire field, and some sort of slime covered the bleachers.
"What the hell is goin' on around here?!"
He whipped around, when he heard a terrible shriek, and was met by a large monster. Upon sight, it snapped its massive jaws at him as it dove towards him. He threw himself out of the way, just barely managing to avoid becoming its lunch.
"And people say that I'm ugly!"
He grinned as he got back on his feet . He then cracks his knuckles and gets into a fighting stance.
"You think you can beat me? I wrestled alligators in Florida! I'm going to snap you in half like a dry bone!"
With that final cry, he charged at the monster.
