So I've pretty much just been playing Final Fantasy 7 for the past 2 days. Finallly finished disc 1 last night. I have the PC version, which obviously is less adequate than the Playstation version, but it hasn't been all that bad. The scene had been spoiled for me too, and I also thought it would come more toward the end of the game. As it was, I wasn't really attached to her, either. So, yeah, I didn't really care... just kind of left me wondering why people cared enough to complain about it.
I need to finish this game, hopefully it hasn't been deleted. I already had to start over again once, I don't know if I'll be willing to do it again. My problem is that I spend too much time on the computer. Maybe I should've gotten the PC version instead of the playstation one. I might have finished it already.

SQUEE!
I love FF7. My favorite game ever. EVAR. I actually was a little misty-eyed when Aeris died, if only because I was 13 years old at the time.
Mostly though, I love the game because of the astral and illusory settings. The background graphics and overall atmosphere are just amazing to me.

Well enough that, I hope you like the game. It's not my favorite Final Fantasy or RPG but it is one of them. At the time it was out it was really amazing though. I hadn't experienced a game like that before when I played it.
