I've just started reading this (though I might be slow because of school aaaaa), but so far, very awesome.

Ellen turned to Laura with a broad smile. "So, how's it feel to be a military wife?" she asked, taking a sip of her drink.

Laura stared at her for an extended moment.

I love the scene you're constructing. The perspectives and the reality and the little character insights into everyone that are as natural as breathing. Insights that are both wonderful and - at times - uncomfortable. It makes it all very real. I'm really looking forward to reading the rest. :D

Oh I love this girl!

I like how you made this little exchange between Ellen and Saul a regular thing they said:

"Did I ever tell you how glad I am I married you?" he teased, planting kisses around her navel.

A familiar line.

An automatic response slipped past her lips. "Not once."

"Oh," he said, kissing along the edge of her underwear. "Well, then, I'll save it for a special occasion."

Everything is so perfectly in character. You interactions between characters and the thoughts of each person :)

I like how you delve into all four people! They are my favorites and I really like all the interactions :)

I love how Bill and Laura are still shy about public affection! and I love the little part about Laura's ass hehe!
