I absolutely loved this entire fic. It's so rare to see anything written about the Tighs. Your Ellen was sympathetic and understandable and it really just made me love her more than I already had. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this!

Thank you for reading and commenting! ♥

It means a lot to me that you, as an Ellen fan, like what I've done with the character. I was feeling her so much when writing this story--I really did want to make her sympathetic and understandable, so your feedback is right on the mark and it pleases me so much.

Oh this was just so perfect.

Laura thinking about going to talk with Ellen and that they would get along when they made it off that rock and being optimistic and then thier last moment together. Oh that was just so heartbreaking knowing what was about to happen.

I love that all Ellen cared about was that Saul realized how much she loved him <3

I hadnt acctually thought about it before but It makes perfect sense that Laura wouldnt know about Ellens death before they left the planet... I love her reaction, you showed that they really did connect.

I love thier reunion is perfect... I love how she had memorized details of thier love maiking and repeated them to herself <3 I love how she still doesnt want him to see that she was hurt... and how he reverently makes love to her and goes over her bruises just a little more than everywhere else but he doesnt say anything <3 ( ... )

you actually made me look past my own preconceptions and prejudices about her to feel for her loss and appreciate her sacrifice.
OMG, score. :) *little fist pump* This makes me so excited... not that she had to endure loss or her sacrifice, but that you could look past your preconceptions. I had a lot of them before I started writing this. She went through so much more than what we saw on screen, whether you believe this story or have your own thoughts on what she went through. I can't watch her scenes with Cavil in Occupation without tears now. I fucked myself over. lol.

dramatic irony, it's awesome.
Glee.

And thank you for the comments on Cavil. He was my dark horse. He evolved in a really frightening way, but I enjoyed writing him because he's just such a complex, freaky fucker.

Thank you for reading, I'm so, so happy you liked it. really. Your opinion means a lot to me because I adore your work. And I hope you like the mix, too. I still listen to Brushfire a lot. :)

Just finished reading this - what a masterpiece. I was right there, with Ellen, feeling everything she was feeling. I've never been drawn to her character before, but damn did you do an incredible job of changing that perception.

I love your Laura, too. The way she thinks, the way she talks, her insights into the situations around her were spot on. And you did a great job at showing her often indecisiveness regarding Bill. That was amazing.

Well done. This is beautiful.

Every time I hear this, I get so happy. Thank you for this note... because it means a lot to me that I could bring a side of Ellen to people that they haven't seen before. The story did that for me, too.

You love my Laura! ♥ ♥ ♥ I feel all sappy.

Thank you for reading and for your kind feedback. I'm thrilled you loved this story as much as you did.
