This fic is amazing. There's so much here about each of the characters - it's something I'm going to have to read again (oh, the humanity! *g*) I think to truly get everything from it.

Wonderful story-telling!!

You already know how much I ADORE this story. It's been amazing to watch it develop and change, yet from the very first time I read it, I was amazed at the insight you gave into Ellen, how you made her a living, breathing person on New Caprica. I was enthralled (and I really don't enjoy Ellen usually).

You had us live this with both of them, and it was frighteningly real and heartbreaking. I actually got into Ellen's story so much that her motives seemed so justified, and I actually forgot that she was to die.

"We lost thousands of people is what happened to me down there. Ellen was one of them. Gods, all she…all we went through."

I could quote so much in this fic, but I quote this because at it's core, this fic has added so much to my personal canon for the NC arc -- I love that (and you for that) SO much.

oh, and I saw a little add somewhere in this fic, a title that I recognized -- thank you for that :). I literally grinned(((A)))), what a beautiful story. Thank you for taking the care to write such an insightful and ( ... )

(((Lars)))

Thank you... really. I'm happy (overjoyed! thrilled!) that you adore it, and that you were able to enjoy Ellen through it. And I'm so endlessly thankful for the comments, brainstorming, and fantastic ideas you provided to make the story even better. You are amazing. Seriously, the love, it is strong...

*ahem*

I mean, thanks, bro. Yeah.

I am shaking my fist angrily at LJ right now for eating your comment!! :)

Thank you for the fine compliments... I'm happy that you were able to enjoy it even though you hate Ellen! It means a lot to me that you trudged through it despite that. And very pleased you thought it wasn't over dramatic. That's important to me too.

Thanks for reading and commenting. :)

I always loved Ellen Tigh, but more as a dramatic device than an actual character. You've made me love her as a character. She's deep and flawed and strong and fragile and oh, so very human. How ironic. I fell to pieces watching her die on NC in Exodus Part II, but it was even more painful to learn of her passing through Laura's eyes.

You've taken what was essentially a one dimension character and infused her with life. And it's such a brilliantly complicated life that all I want now is to read what came before all this. Learn what made Ellen Tigh into the woman we come to know so well in this magnificent story.

This is what the big bang challenge is all about.

Spectacular.
