Due to the fact that we only have one entry, I'll be extending the challenge another week... Making it a three week challenge. Am i the only person who doesn't go on vacation??

Hopefully we'll get a few more entries before Friday, Aug 22nd...

Nay! I've just been uber swamped with the madness that is work and doctor's appointments.

I do think people might be more likely to enter if there are a couple of caps provided for them. Doesn't mean they HAVE to use them, but I know sometimes I get lazy when I have to hunt them down. *hopes she doesn't get stoned*

I agree with this. I find that the icontests that give me caps are the ones I do first.

We seem to be bumping into each other in a few communities today.
I promise I'm just bored and hitting all mine, I'm not stalking you.

DAMN! I was hoping we could be mutual stalkers. :(

Oh, and if I may, starttheclock has this pretty cool feature where they have a list of upcoming contests. It might be cool to have that here too, so people know what's coming up and can mark their calenders. And it can be random stuff like "OMGWTFBBQ!" week, where it's funny fances. And such. :)

I don't really agree about the caps. If they're good, it's OK but there are a few comms that provide really low-res caps and I've had a hard time working with them - and telling from other people's entries, I wasn't the only one.

So yeah, caps are OK but only if they're HiRes, like 1'280x720 or something.

I can understand about the low-res caps. Truth is, I kinda enjoy that sort of challenge sometimes. But even low res-caps provide you with a starting point. Which is pretty cool to me because it helps get the ideas going in my head for the icon I want to make. :)
