Thank God theres only little over a week until the election is over and there is a break from stupid political ads for a while.

Grrrrrrrr!!!! am tired of them.

You mean you don't want to keep hearing all about how Talent is rubberstamping Bush's bills or how MacCaskill asked her fellow officials to back off investigating her husband's nursing homes? Or Michael J Fox promise that the stem cell initiative specifically forbids human cloning? Or various sports personalities promise that the initiative is misleading and will indeed allow the cloning??

And as we get our feed from Kansas City we get ALL of the Kansas adds too, but they haven't reached the level that Talent and McCaskill have.

I'm guessing you get double dose of Missouri and Illinois adds too?

Oh yes, we get double-whammied with the ads, too. It's by far more MO ads, tho. I'm not kidding myself regarding the reason, however--it's all down to voter concentration. Most of the IL politicians spend the bulk of their dollars up in and around Chicago, where the largest concentration of voters are located. We get a smattering of local political tv ads for IL, but very little in the way of IL state races.

And the really frustrating part? Even if I did do my homework and determine who the lesser of the two crooks (Talent & McCaskill) is? I couldn't vote for them anyway.

Blah. No kidding. I'm sick of hearing how corruped the other canidates are. FCOL, they are politicians. They're all corrupt! I've got half a mind to vote for that Libertarian dude with the Moses beard and horrid, cheap looking ad just because the ad is soooo bad.

You're not kidding. I went and did early voting a couple of days ago, so I'm trying my best now to really tune out all of that political crap.
