Favorite part of GK so far?: the shallow part of me says brad without his shirt. but i mostly i love the interactions between the guys. it's like an awesome road trip with all of your friends and a trunk load of fireworks, but also with a whole bunch of dudes tagging a long that you can't stand and the scenery trying to blow you up and all the rest stops have roaches.
Other Fandoms: recently i've been writing a lot of baseball rps, mostly about red sox players. i have way too many idle fandoms to list.
Favorite character(s): colbert, doc bryan, rudy and pappy, fick (everyone?)
Why you love this show so: lord. let me count the ways... i love the gallows humor, the dry humor, the explosions, the eye-fucking...
You know you ship it!: i'll try anything once, but i'm especially hung up on colbert/fick

Favorite part of GK so far?: Scribe meeting the platoon for the first time, Ray's singing, Trombley's assertion that he likes cats, Colbert and Fick's relationship, everything Jason Lilly, and Rudy stating simply that he wants to be around skinny people.
Other Fandoms: BtVS, Harry Potter, The Matrix, X-Men, Twilight
Favorite character(s): Jason Lilley, Brad Colbert, Nathan Fick, Josh Ray Persons, Gabe Garza, Gunny Wynn, and of course, Rudy Reyes.
Why you love this show so: The chemistry between the characters is really phenomenal, and it's an excellent insight into the psyche of society's warriors. This sort of comraderie is something that is present throughout history, although my slashy little mind might think of Fick/Colbert as being a bit more of Plato's brand of warrior. Furthermore, I think it's an important way to humanize the actualw ar that's going on right now in the Middle East... we don't get a lot of coverage about the human aspect of the war, and because of that, ( ... )

Why you love this show so: Manly men doing manly things while being informative on the situation in Iraq.
You know you ship it!: I tried so hard to stay away but Brad/Fick pulled me in. Colbert/Person friendship because I don't like Ray when he is sad.
Anything else you'd like to tell us?: maybe are mopp suits are desert but we are just so sleep deprived they just look that way to us -Ray reminds me so much of my RL friends it is scary. One of my friends was able to prove that the sky was green.
