Wow, at first the images sound so…not 'easy' but just consumeristic and how in limits there is safety but after rereading several times, it underlines just how terrifying absolute freedom is, and just how lonely it can be.

I love the string imagery - reminds of the fate-spell conceits in the TV series The White Queen. Must look up this poet now!
