I keep trying to write a review of the movie
It just comes out geekier and geekier every time, and I think I've met my geek quota for the week.
Instead, I will simply say:
1. On a scale of one to ten, I rate this movie "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS"
2. I want a tiny wee Chekov of my own to carry around in a purse (is that weird? that's weird), and
3.
As I told mko at the end of the film, "Of all the things I was expecting to happen in this movie, 'Scotty gets a gremlin sidekick' was probably at the bottom of the list." Okay, so, he's an alien, not a gremlin. Close enough. It's actually really adorable. Gremlins don't want to trash your plane/starship, they want to repair it. Aww.
