Fact: hydraulic fluid looks kind of like blood

Friday I worked eight hours straight without taking a break and spent seven of those hours under various planes, reaching up into their delicate plane guts and playing with the fuses. I came home covered in dirt and grease and dead spiders and what I think may have been an owl pellet, and all I could think was

Can you not work part-time at your current job in order to qualify for Medicaid? :( Your job sounds rad, so I'm sorry you have to give it up.

That's what I'm doing right now, actually, but it's not enough to pay the bills anymore. Sorry if that was unclear! <3

I would say go to a community college only with half the credits and get health care that way. Its not terribly expensive but I'm not sure how tight your budget is. Anyways, enjoy the job while you have it and just keep on looking I guess.

Bah, married couples who needs 'em. XD But realistically sometimes its hard to not be isolated in that particular circumstance. If you can afford some time go join up with a club/organization or something and maybe you'll meet new people or something. I'm thinking about joining a couple of things later in the year when things are back in order. It'll be fun anways, right?

Pretty tight, unfortunately, which is why I'm jobseeking now.

I think it goes without saying, but if you join a club you're gonna have to let me know how that goes. XD

I know, me socializing in any context is a big deal. I think next semester I'll probably join up with the Japanese conversation club. Plus, I'm thinking about helping out with some of the gaming/anime conventions around town. It'll get me some experience in that field which might impress future employers.

Finances are tight here as well. The car was just fixed and my cat needs to have some dental work done. Just one day at a time, am I right?

There are a ridiculous amount of married couples in my life as well. On the one hand, it's a 2-for-1 deal when you make a new friend, but on the other...sooner or later they start talking about married people stuff and you're out of the loop. (Unless you try to chime in, which of course can only lead to "you don't understand...you're not married.")

Then again, being married is not cool. ^_^

I'm going to start inviting you to everything my school does.
