Lets discuss somethign that Hillary Duckling brought to my attention just now.

Feminist/feminism.

First and foremost, nobody likes a feminist or feminism

Feminism killed chivalry

now chivalry isnt a big concept. It is small things that a man can do for a female that he fancies. Simple things such as carrying her things, opening a door, saying hello and tipping your hat. since feminism rolled around and women wished to prove that they can do anything and everything that a man can, the manners of the world have seem to gone out the door, that no one opened as a matter of good faith by the way. So woman can do anything that a man can, and men as a society have decided (becaues the majority of us WERE chivalric) to let women go ahead and give it a shot.

this in turn led to the rapid decline of manners for women and men. Which is unfortunate. This is a greater problem is that people are bringing their children up without proper etiquette. why? nothing good comes from being rude. What ever happened to people opening the door for a stranger, or holding the elevator and then people saying thank you and smiling, or even a nod of appreciation would suffice.

now don't get me wrong obviously in todays society certain aspects of chivalry do not NEED to be practised (although i will admit i do not but i should because it is polite) such as standing when a women joins or leaves a table.

now discuss this.

the death of etiquette is as follows
first went chivalry
no we are working on just general manners, not as many people say thank you or please anymore.
