On June 7th at 8AM I was induced into labor at Winter Park Memorial Hospital. About 30 minutes later I started to have contractions. After two hours the doctor came in and broke my water. Woke up at 7AM and did a lot of running around. Had to go to my storage unit to get the rest of the stuff for the baby's room. Half way there it started to pour, so we had to sit in the car until it died down so none of the stuff would get soaked. Day after tomorrow I will be a mother. Last night my mom calls and suggests that we go fishing. I hesitate and warn her of the weather predictions. All she has to say is, "That's on the east coast, we'll just west." I'm walking into the doctor's office and I trip. Great being pregnant...can't see my feet well enough to not step on them. I go inside...knowing it will be my last appointment before they induce me. I went to the doctor yesterday to see how everything was with the baby and to see if I started to dialate. Of course I haven't, so I still have the induction date on the 7th. Yesterday was my baby shower, and it was awesome. I got so many things for my little Lylian. Everything is in Carebears! We played some really fun games and others that were just weird. Since the last time I wrote in my journal, a lot has happened. I'm now 29 weeks pregnant. Or 7 months and 1 week. I live in a house off of Texas Ave. and Oakridge rd. Why is it that life is so odd? You meet the strangest people and they all seem to scare the crap out of you. Walking down the street i see people talking to themself and i can't help but to laugh. Are they okay? Or do i live in a world full of people who act like terrorists?
