ooo that sounds so good. so excited for harford and merriweather. I can't keep up on the setlists and various chatter on phish websites because it makes me really angst-y about not being able to be on tour. but thanks for this little update, it makes me excited!

seriously. Hearing him tell the story in asheville about reading fishman's journal and writing 3 songs...then playing the three songs in a row...that's like, the full experience. I've always said that the reason why we love phish so much is the intimacy...the feeling that we're all friends, sharing in an experience, telling stories and reliving memories and making new ones, together. Hearing about them sharing an apartment, tripping on something and being scared of the phone, etc...that's what puts a smile on my face. That, and the face-melting ghosts and tweezers that are starting to emerge.

absolutely - what stuck out in my mind more than anything from the 3 shows i saw last week (1st 2 jones beach, camden) was how much FUN they (and trey in particular) seem to be having now. waaaaay more so than what is now being referred to as phish 2.0
