How I came to buy Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at a midnight release party is a rather amusing story in and of itself, but I don't got a lotta time, so I thought it would be fun to share my initial impressions of the book (as written in my journal immediately after finishing it on the 22nd) and see what you guys think.

All I gotta say is- being at the bookstore that night totally threw me off.. All I wanted was some books! I didn't even think that the new Harry Potter was being released. I still have yet to get it.. I'm trying to ignore the spoilers up above me as I type this.
