I've been meaning to make this for a few days but it still makes me so sad. :( I really can't believe. But I just read a full translation of his last letter, which was posted to his official site after his death from pancreatic cancer was announced, and oh my god, it made me bawl. So horrible

I've been offline for about a week now, and the first thing I saw when I got internet back was a friend's post on my Facebook wall about Satoshi Kon and it damn near ruined my day. Maybe it's because his death is so close to Harvey Pekar's, but this has me more upset than ANY of the celebrity deaths from 2009.
