Dude, seriously. You're being really hard on yourself lately. Your kids and happy and healthy. They're going to school and doing project outside of school that are great for their social and physical development. They make you crazy and you make them crazy. You're INJURED with problems that take loooong recoveries.

I know I see you guys once every few months, but I really believe you're just a stable family with some problems jumping up and down in front of you. You're as normal as any triad I know.... ;)

I have a friend who's 6 year old daughter got hit by an opening car door and got her collarbone broken while they were riding their bikes.

Neither she nor you are even approximating bad mothers, let alone worst mothers of the year.
