[Leans out the window, reaching with her arm toward the nearest branch to test the distance. She hasn't noticed Pikachu down there just yet.]

"Hmmm... might be too far..."

"Maybe I could try making my bedsheets into a rope, like in those old prison break movies!"

He does a lot of arguing with her, boiling down to the fact that he doesn't really give a shit *what* Kay does, and his frustrated conclusion that Tlachtga needs to shut the help up and un-drone already. She storms off crying, and he slams the door to his study.]

[Slips out of her room to go knock on dad's study door.]

[The door is flung open, and he's expecting to see the drone wife there. He's about to start yelling again, but he stops.]

"Uh... sorry. I heard the argument from my room, and I thought I should apologize since it's my fault she's mad."

[Still avoiding looking him in the eyes, though, as she awkwardly rubs at her elbow.]

[In the process of heading down to the park, Lucas blinks in slight confusion at the girl leaning way out the window.]
