[ Klavier's been writing this all down to his notebook since the start, but once the cost of this information is revealed, it takes all of his strength to finish the sentence without letting go of his pencil. Of course they wouldn't get out of there without a price. He had expected it, but nevertheless it's just cruel.

He considers heading over to see how she's doing, but he realizes he isn't that close to her. He just hopes somebody else will go there for her. ]
