At first glance this thief seems like any other 17 year old teenager, arrogant enough to claim that he is best thief and that no one can catch him, yet he knows just when to be serious. Dark is a shameless flirt, hitting on Risa who his tamer likes at first seemingly just to do it to annoy Daisuke. While there are things he does to annoy his tamer, Dark does care for him and unlike his other half, Krad, uses Wiz to become his wings rather than grow his own as they would hurt Daisuke. At one point he even made a bet with Satoshi, which he won making the other boy promise to leave Daisuke alone. Dark steals and while to most people it seems like he’s nothing more than a bad guy, still he doesn’t let him stop him from doing it. This thief is the competitive type, and doesn’t like to back down from a challenge.
With his profession and looks, Dark knows that he’s a sexy idol that lots of girls rave over, and he often uses that to get things. When Daisuke begins to get closer to Satoshi, Dark is against it, and often even gets angry, yet he is secretly proud that the two of them seem to be breaking the fates of both families. Often Dark says something that makes Daisuke worry about things, but then he goes back to his normal self. There aren’t many people who can make dark angry, the main one Dark ever shows his true anger towards is Krad, merely because he really seems to be the opposite of him, not caring for his tamer, and he always becomes serious around him. He’s occasionally wary around Satoshi because of this, yet it’s usually covered with annoyance or cockiness. When Daisuke ignores his advice to stay away from Satoshi, Dark is not above sulking off in the corner of his tamer’s mind.
Underneath his teenage exterior is a mysterious and brooding figure who seemingly walks alone. Dark refers to himself as a monster because he knows the truth behind his creation. Usually Dark doesn’t let himself fall in love with any one person as he knows that one day he too will no longer exist.
Magical Powers/Weapons/Skills:
Thieving is his specialty, mostly he only uses Wiz to keep from harming Daisuke, Dark also has the ability of flight by sprouting large black wings from his back. Usually Dark just shares a body with a “tamer” or host from the Niwa family, changing whenever feelings of love become strong, although he can take over at anytime, however if he changes with feelings of anger it would damage his host. On occasion, the thief can take control while still looking like Daisuke, although usually when something has happened to his tamer. Dark has been around for 400 years, yet he only appears when a male Niwa turns 14 years old, and only for an undetermined amount of time.
Other Abilities:
He can pick locks of any kind and disguise himself in a blink of an eye. With a quickness that most people don’t possess, this thief can dodge nearly everything thrown at him. Like other good thieves Dark can spot a piece of magnificent artwork and appreciate it although unless its part of the Hikari line he usually doesn't take a big interest in it. He is a master of disguises although he's cocky enough to not need it most of the time.

Hey, you aren’t still going to be friends with Hiwatari are you, Daisuke? Tell me you aren’t going to team up with him again! How many times do we have to tell you that it’s dangerous to be around him!

I can’t believe it!
You’re ignoring me! That’s not allowed!
Yo! Daisuke! DAISUKE!!! [Mentally he’s flailing because that’s all he can do.]

Third-Person Sample Post:
Through the night he soared high above the skies on wings blacker than the heavens. His signature calling card had been sent out just earlier today by his tamer’s mother. The outfit that had been picked out was naturally black like all the others before it, helping him to blend in with the darkness. Silently his feet touched down on the twelfth story ledge while spotlights lit up sections of the building. Picking the lock on the window was a cinch for the greatest thief who ever walked the earth. Through the empty hallways he strolled, just as casual as he could be.
Outside the clock tower tolled. Once, twice….until finally the ninth chime echoed. Right on schedule, the shadowed figure smirk as his eyes caught sight of the statuette etched in diamond. Yet another one of the Hikari’s collection, another artwork brought to life which was reeking havoc throughout the town. A stream of moonlight crept across the floor until the individual was illuminated in it’s brilliant glow.
Quickly his fingers flew over the keypad, unlocking the steel cage surrounding his intended target. Three seconds. That was all it took for the object to be resting heavily in his hands. Suddenly, the lights flicked on and the room was swarmed with cops flowing in from both doors.
“It’s Dark!” One officer called out.
“Get him!” Another responded.
Dark chuckled, jumping out of reach of the police. Now in the window frame he had entered the thief gave them a cocky smile and a fake salute. “You’ll have to do better than that if you want to catch…” In a flurry of black feathers that had them all shielding their eyes, Dark was gone from the window. “The Great Phantom Thief Dark!” His voice echoed, even though he was gone from sight, once more making his great escape.
