Parker is on the floor of a carousel. This would be fine for most people, but as Parker has a serious distrust of horses -- she used to loathe them but that’s tempered to unhealthy distrust -- she is not amused. They’re all too pretty and sparkly, and look like they’re hiding something. When she stands, she looks one straight in the eye,

She might also be bopping along to music on her ipod.

No, that is not true, Parker loves easy marks. They don't love her, which is why it is best they don't notice her.
It's simple, a brush past, with a shoulder, hiding the movement of her hand as it grabs the wallet from the open handbag.
Open handbag, clearly this woman deserves to have her money stolen.
"Sorry," Parker says. Some pickpockets argue it would be better to say nothing, but when it comes to thievery, Archie taught her a few manners will often convince a mark that never could such a polite person steal anything.
Parker wonders how much the ratio will be of cash versus cards but doesn't dare to check until she can duck in an alley, out of view.

Of course this is what comes out of her mouth.
"O M G!! Hardison is going to be SOOO happy to see you!"
And then some restraint.
"I'm Lucy."

She is also not one to ask for clarification; she heard the other woman perfectly clearly.
The wallet is slipped into her pocket and the polite woman offering the apology of moments ago vanishes. There is an intense examination like Parker's trying to decide whether or not to answer or snap this woman's neck.
Then again, there is a taser in her pocket. "What do you know about Hardison? Are you stopping the signal Lucy?" Each word sounds like a deadpan and dangerous accusation.

She hasn't got much else on her besides some money and candy and her device in her pockets, and is now busy trying not to trip over Tiger as the small dog takes it into his head to wind himself around her ankles.

She's about to dip into the all too accessible pockets, when she sees what in her mark's arms. Snatching one off the top, there's a brief whoosh sound as Parker steps in front, holding up the guide.
"This for here?"

"For 'ere? Oh, you mean is it 'bout the City? Yeah, they are! Did ya just get 'ere then?" Even after more than a year living in the City her cockney accent is just as broad as it used to be back home, and she offers Parker a smile as Tiger moves in to sniff at the new arrival's feet in a curious but friendly way.

For someone unused to a Southern accent, it might sound genuine. For someone used to a Southern accent, Parker would be sorry, if she were capable of such a thing.

He starts walking toward her. "Parker?"

And she could totally get his wallet. If she felt like it.

Wait, that's not true, as she steps up to him, almost nose to nose, "She," the word is spit out like it's an expletive, as Parker points to Lucy, "knows Hardison."
Her voice gets lower. "Is she dangerous? I can't tell."
Sadly, that is a very serious question, as she looks at Eliot, full of expectation for a very serious answer.
