I find it hard to except, but maybe there's a bitter part of me that wants to believe it, just so I don't walk away feeling so stolen from.

I..never really loved in the first place.

I mean, yeah, there was someone, but she seems like a distant memory now. She died when the colony fell. Never really had the chance to tell her.

It would have been worse if I was attached to her, true. I just wish we could have saved her, and so many others.
