I didn't capitalize the numbers, but they look capital in that context, don't they? In pleasant conversation with my co-workers today, I recalled the Book Challenge of 2008. It was kind of successful. I made that post almost exactly two years ago, which tells me that today is a good day to decide on/announce a book challenge of 2010. Are you with

Oh I'm in! This is perfect timing as I'll be going on a long car trip soon and I can sift through the many books on my Kindle for the first one. :)

So 1 for me is His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik (already finished - poke me for a review in a couple of days if I haven't put anything up), 2 is Havemercy by Jaida Jones & Danielle Benett and 3 is The Court of the Air by Stephen Hunt. I meant to do just a fantasy theme with these three books but I also have dragon (1 & 2) and steampunk (2 & 3) themes too I think.
